Gloria visits Canary Wharf

The last few weeks on the Thames has seen a large number of sailing ships and the latest arrival in the early hours of Thursday 3rd September saw the Colombian Navy’s sail training ship ARC Gloria arrive in West India Dock.

She is on one of her annual cadet training cruises and has visited a number of ports in Europe and is spending 4 days in London – a visit that will culminate in a passage through Tower Bridge to make Colombia day on Sunday 6th.

In the meantime she is moored in West India dock and is open to the public who can have a look around the deck areas.
