Going commando in the Royal Docks


In addition to the Warships that form part of the static display at the DSEI defence equipment show a number of smaller craft also make use of the Royal Victoria dock to undertake various demonstrations. This year also included a ship boarding demonstration that was undertaken by a  group of British Royal Marine commandos.

A seven man assault team used the RIB from HMS Iron Duke.

The training vessel VN Partisan stood in as the target vessel for the exercise that culminated in the marines scaling the side of the ship.
