A river bus service operates on the River Thames provided by Thames Clippers who, since mid 2020, are operating under the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers brand.
Service times vary by day, time and location but the core RB1 route covers Battersea Power Station pier in the West to Barking Riverside Pier in the East whilst the RB6 route covers Putney to Canary Wharf but only during weekday peak periods.
It is expected that an additional route to Gravesend will become a permanent addition to the route network in due course but at present only limited, seasonal, services are run down to Gravesend.
Thames Clippers also run charter services and support cruise ship visitors to London (including Tilbury) as well as logistics operations.
